Yes, Pimarc is a secure web-based application which offers you ultimate convenience. Pimarc is quickly installed on your server or desktop computer which runs Windows XP or higher. This computer will serve as your file storage machine and can always be accessed by using Internet Explorer to log in. Interaction with your database is done using secure internal pages that only your team can access.

Is Pimarc scalable?
One of the best features of Pimarc is that it is designed to grow as you grow. If you are a small business, a special version of Pimarc is available, called Pimarc Lite. This smaller version uses the same SQL engine and database as the full version of Pimarc. This means that you will be able to seamlessly move to the full version of Pimarc as your business grows.
What PC requirements do I have to have?
For optimal operation, we recommend a Pentium PC with a minimum 64 MB RAM. Pimarc also requires Internet Explorer 5.5, or greater to operate, on any Windows operating system.
What are the minimum server software & hardware requirements?
We recommend that the desktop computer which runs Pimarc is not used by other office personnel so that it can perform at its peak as a storage device for the database and you other files (e.g. CAD drawings, scanned images, documents, etc.)

Will my company need to purchase another database?
No. Pimarc is able to use many database engines, which includes Microsoft SQL Express (a free download) and MySQL (free Open Source, with no license fees).
Is Pimarc easy to customize?
Can Pimarc import data from other programs and applications?
Yes. Our specialists can help you import your customer records and other information from your accounting system into Pimarc. We will also be able to assist you in importing files from MS Access, Dbase, Excel and any other programs. We can do this quickly and at a much lower cost that with manual coding, which will save you the time and headaches of doing file changeovers yourself.
Does Pimarc easily integrate with other enterprise solutions?
Yes. Pimarc is very easily integrated with other applications that have a database structure which makes it a simple task.
